Square edged worktops |  Curved Base units in your kitchen design? We have the cost effect solution for your worktops! | Worktops up to 60mm thick can be made with either a matching laminate edge or with a contrasting acrylic edge curved & shaped to match your kitchen. Wide range of decors to choose from. | Following the curve of the base unit with a postformed laminate worktop is not possible & the only answer would be to use granite, wood or composite worktops. UNTIL NOW! | Worktops up to 100mm thick can be made with a matching laminate edge. These worktops can be angled, however we are unable to curve any worktop more than 60mm thick. | | We have 2 options to offer you with Square edge laminate worktops: | Option 1: By using a worktop blank from the "off the shelf" range such as Duropal, Axiom & Prima we can offer a maximum worktop size of 4100 x 870mm. Using the Munro range of worktops we can offer a maximum worktop size of 5200 x 1170mm. | Option 2: We have just invested in our own flat panel laminate press and can make a worktop up to 3000 x 1200mm, which means that if we can source the laminate, we can make a worktop of your choice! Send a copy of your plan for a quote | | Case Study: We recently made a new reception counter for Bollington Print Shop in Bollington, Macclesfield. The worktop was designed by Simon at Bollington Print Shop as part of their new reception area. Manufactured from 25mm MDF with a 50mm front downstand, the worktop was faced with Egger Laminate Ash Loire to match the slat wall being installed, the curved front edge was faced with an acrylic aluminium effect 2mm edging. An additional table top was also manufactured to match the main counter. The counter was then installed by Gary and his team at Pott Shrigley Joinery, Pott Shrigley, Macclesfield.
